Britain's got talent?

So Britain's got talent... An entertainment show, a 'talent show' and Simon Cowell's money machine. It seems that with every year, comes more talent. And no, I'm not talking about 'dancing' dogs that parade around on stage wagging their tails.

Although it can be very entertaining, with acts like Martin Healy (the man who danced with a broom dressed as a nun), it really is the most exaggerated show on tv. Just a bunch of average people doing average things in the name of entertainment. Besides from the million dances acts, we're presented with singers that are either ashamed of their weight, fighting some illness or extremely nervous. Of course we all know that it takes real guts to get on stage in front of millions of viewers, but if they play the 'I'm really nervous' card, they'll have some excuse for messing up the song. what we're all thinking of course is, why can't the singers audition for Xfactor? The answer? Less singers to compete with.

 Onto the judges. Simon, I admire for saying what everyone is thinking. Then again, its his show, he can do whatever he pleases. Now for Amanda Holden, crocodile tears, whiny voice, crap jokes and awkward moments. Alesha Dixon = waste of camera space. David Walliams seems to be the most kind hearted of all of them, camp with a sense of humour.

 One thing that gets to me is people saying 'only British people should be allowed to audition on BRITAIN'S got talent'... Actually, anyone can audition,  its a talent show for people living in Britain, not British people.  Should we strip Mo Farah from his medals because he is Somali born?
Ant and Dec, the only reason the audience laughs... Put Amanda and Alesha in their place and expect annoying laughs, awkwards silences and awful jokes. Overall, despite the ad breaks between every other act, the over ratted dancers and annoying children... BGT is improving year by year.

Hopes for the future - remove Amanda and Alesha from judging panel.
